Congratulations to Mrs. Lacey Brown, who was named the incoming Director of Federal Programs for Mid-Del Schools. She will be filling the position after Mrs. Karel Nichols retires this school year. #mdpurpose

Please help us welcome Mrs. Leslie Pope who will join the Mid-Del team as the new Executive Director of Elementary Instruction beginning in July. Pope will fill the position currently held by Mr. Johnny Thompson who will be retiring this school year. #mdpurpose

Congratulations to 2019 Academic All-State Award winners Taryn McLaughlin, from Carl Albert High School, and Adam Sorrell, from Midwest City High School! Each of this year’s Academic All-Staters will receive a $1,000 merit-based scholarship and a medallion. #mdpurpose

Fifth graders from Schwartz Elementary visited the administration office today to present the Living History Museum! The Living History Museum at Schwartz Elementary started in 2006 and continues on today! In 2007, the school received a grant from the Mid-Del Public Schools Foundation for library books and costumes to be used for the Living History Museum. Each year, fifth graders at Schwartz Elementary have a Living History Museum day where the students dress in costumes representing their characters and present their story to school, family, friends, and administrators. Our staff was incredibly excited to see the students today and hear their stories. What a great Friday! #mdpurpose

We are excited to announce registration for our 2nd Annual Mid-Del Senior Conference is OPEN! Mid-Del will be hosting a one-day conference on Tuesday, February 26th that will cover a variety of topics centered around better preparing the Class of 2019 for success after high school. We are also excited to announce that for the 2019 Mid-Del Senior Conference, students will receive all conference info through a Conference App! As the event draws closer, more session and presenter info will be posted through the app! So more info through the app coming soon! We are thankful to many of our Mid-Del Community Partners for helping make this event happen! Students can register 2 different ways: 1) Download the "EventsXD" app and search for the event "Mid-Del Senior Conference 2019: The Next Voyage" 2) Students can also register online using the URL: https://tinyurl.com/NextVoyage19 Students must register by February 8th!
